Chalk Lane is off of Cockfosters Road (A111), near to Cockfosters underground station. On entering Chalk Lane, you will pass Cockfosters cricket club, then the football club, followed by Southgate Compton clubhouse alongside it's car park. Chalk Lane should be entered from the Cockfosters Station End, as there is now restricted access from the Cock & Dragon Pub, northern end.
