It is with great sadness that I have to inform the League of the passing of Richard Howson on 9th January 2012. He had been ill with a cancerous brain tumour for the last year and despite treatment, this was not successful, returning with a vengeance to which I understand nothing could be done. It is a great loss not only for me and all of the Edmonton players. but mostly for his Wife, twin Sons, Daughter-in-Law and two Grand Children who have our deepest sympathy. I would like to thank all of the members of the League who have enquired as to his well being and asked for their good wishes to be conveyed to him and his family. His Funeral will be held on Friday 20th January at 2:30pm, at Mary Immaculate and St Peters Church in Somerset Road New Barnet and afterwards at New Southgate Crematorium.
